"Big Brother, you’ve been in seclusion for fifty years! I’ve mined most of this ore deposit, haha!" Xiao Chi raised his head proudly, recounting how fulfilling every day had been. "And Brother Ox’s array is finally complete! Oh, you wouldn’t believe it, we created a Five-Element Stone together."

"Fifty years?" Chen Xun blinked, holding onto Brother Ox’s head in surprise. He hadn’t noticed the passage of time.

"Moo~" Brother Ox nodded in affirmation. Xiao Chi was telling the truth.

Chen Xun let out a sigh of relief. Xiao Chi’s presence had been a godsend; otherwise, he couldn’t imagine how Brother Ox would have endured the long years, alone and deeply absorbed in array research.
