All-in-One System: All I Need is Erotic Coins

Chapter 326: Rescue (5)

Chapter 326: Rescue (5)

Different from the other two islands that were basically just vegetation and filled with beasts, that one had structure.

After leaving through that gate, they saw a stone road connecting the city to the other locations of the island, and one of these locations was the mines.

Damian realized that, while walking on the road, lots of pirates would show up, and his presence might alert them.

So, when the first one showed up—the first that was alone—Damian attacked him.

A quick slice to the throat killed the man. He pulled it over to the vegetation to hide the body and grabbed something from the body.

It was a token all the pirates had on their chests, like a symbol of their pirate gang.

With it, Damian was sure he would be safe. The only remaining thing was to tie Cait’s hands with a rope.

"We need to make it look like I’m bringing you to the mines," he said, "are you okay with it?"

Damian asked whether the woman was okay with doing it. The girl was young, recently turned 18, so Damian didn’t want her to suffer when she was just starting her days as an adult.

"No problem. If this is what takes me out of this place, I’m more than willing to do it."

When Damian wrapped her wrists with the rope, the woman softly moaned.

"Ahh."

He tried to ignore it and keep walking through the cobblestone roads.

Cait had overheard that the mines were on the right side of the island, so when they saw a road leading to the right side, they instantly took it.

Damian wasn’t sure that was the right direction, but when he met another pirate on the road, he was sure of it.

"Are you going to the mines with this one?" the pirate said, passing by Damian. "I thought they weren’t taking slaves anymore."

"One died inside the mines, can you believe it? A stone fell and hit it on the head."

The pirate chuckled.

"They are so stupid sometimes. But hey, there are a few beasts on the road going there, so you’ll have to fight to pass. Just so that you know."

Damian kept going forward, and eventually he had to choose which road to follow.

The cobblestone road connected the whole island. The mines were just a part of it. There were other buildings outside, like the places where the pirates lived and so on.

This time, choosing the right direction wasn’t hard. Damian heard noises from afar, like metal hitting something hard.

It sounded like some people were fighting. Damian followed those noises, reaching a battlefield in the middle of the road.

A group of 3 pirates was fighting against some beasts. The beasts were like lizards, but entirely made of stone with massive claws, sharp teeth, and a mouth on their backs.

From that mouth, the stone lizards breathed fire!

When the pirates spotted Damian there, they yelled.

"Hey, man, can you help us?"

Those pirates weren’t that strong, so they were having a hard time facing that beast.

Damian tied up the rope to a tree first to keep up appearances, then rushed to help them. He didn’t use any of his special powers, only his sword and the power of his body.

Even his natural body strength was restrained. He wanted to make them think he was only slightly stronger than they were.

When a breath of fire came toward Damian, he rolled to the side to dodge it. Then, he dashed toward one of the lizards.

Once close enough, the lizard tried to attack him using its sharp claws, but Damian was already waiting for that. He jumped, and in the air, aimed his sword down.

He pierced the sword through the mouth that was on the lizard’s back. That was the only place that wasn’t protected by the lizard’s hard stone skin.

The other pirates saw that and realized how stupid they were. It was their first time fighting against that type of beast, so they had no idea how to do it.

All of them mimicked Damian’s movements, trying to hit the mouth on the lizard’s back.

Sure, they weren’t that fast or precise like he was, but they still managed to kill the lizards.

They were all gasping for air at the end of the fight. They walked over to Damian.

"Thank you for the help, man," one said, "if it wasn’t for you, we might never find out how to go through the defenses of those beasts."

Those pirates were really young. Inexperienced and weak.

"It was nothing," Damian said, patting their shoulders, "just be careful next time. Are you returning to the city?"

"Yes, we are. We need to buy some supplies for the mines. You’re going there, right?"

Damian nodded.

"Alright, so we might talk tomorrow morning. We could eat something together by the fire tomorrow."

They left, waving Damian goodbye. Those young pirates didn’t look that bad.

’They are just starting in this criminal life; eventually, they will all end up the same,’ he thought.

Damian untied Cait from the tree and kept moving, now certain they were moving in the right direction.

It didn’t take long for them to finally reach the mines.

The mines were close to the ocean. To enter, one had to go through a path near a summit and circle around the hills. The entrance was hidden on the cliff, a secret cave.

Damian could heard the sound of waves hitting the rocks near the shore, and feel the refreshing breeze hit his face.

There were lots of people there in the front. Pirates. They were there to make sure the people working in the mines didn’t flee.

So, they had set up a camp there, right in front of the mines. The mines only had one way out, so that was more than enough to keep everyone there.

Damian stopped and watched the entrance from a distance, trying to assess how powerful the pirates were.

Everyone in the camp wasn’t strong. Like, sure, they were decent, but Damian could easily kill them without breaking a sweat.

However, a group of pirates left the cave while Damian was observing it. Those were way stronger than the rest.

’They must be the ones in charge.’ Damian thought.

To his surprise, one of them moved his head and gazed toward him.

It had sensed him!
